Company Profile

E2 Metals Limited is an Australian exploration and development company, focused on advancing the Neavesville epithermal Gold and Silver Project, located in the Huaraki goldfield of New Zealand’s North Island.  The Company’s portfolio also includes the advanced Mount Hope gold project in the Cobar basin of NSW.

The Neavesville Project in New Zealand focusing on precious metal exploration of gold and silver is located in the Hauraki goldfield of New Zealand’s North Island. The property covers historic underground and shallow open cut workings of the Neavesville “gold-silver field”. Neavesville’s epithermal gold-silver mineralization includes similar geologic features to other deposits of the Hauraki goldfield, including OceanaGold’s  Martha Favona gold-silver mine located 25 kilometers to the southeast.

Gold production in the Hauraki Goldfields has primarily been from epithermal style gold deposits. The Hauraki Goldfield has been, and continues to be New Zealand’s most productive gold producer.

The Hauraki Goldfield contains about 50 known epithermal gold-silver deposits related to Miocene to Pliocene age hydrothermal systems. These deposits have total recorded production of approximatley 11 M oz of gold and 50 M oz of silver since production began in 1862.

The Neavesville Project contains 3 principal target areas, Neavesville, Oneura & Chelmsford.  The Neavesville target area contains 6 known Prospects, with the two most advanced being the Trig’s Bluff Deposit and the Ajax Prospect.

The largest of the systems defined by historic drilling is centered on Trig’s Bluff, and measures approximately 2.5 by 1.5 kilometers. Gold-silver mineralization is developed in a large multiphase breccia complex that cuts faulted volcanic and minor sedimentary sequences, as well as along steeply dipping quartz-adularia veins, and as stockworks in breccias and dacite porphyry.

Trig Bluffs has historic near-surface and deeper higher-grade inferred resources reported to JORC standards (R. Brathwaite, IGNS report, 1999; 2001).

At Trig’s Bluff, an inferred mineral resource based on review and modification of historic existing lithological and mineralization wireframes was estimated by Mr D Coventry, Member AusIMM and AIG, following industry standard procedures in accordance with JORC Code 2012.

The Inferred Mineral resource comprises 1,489,500 tonnes ore at a grade of 2.58 g/t Au (123,600 oz Au) and 9.69 g/t Ag (509,100 oz Ag) at a gold cut off grade of 0.7 g/t.  In addition to, and exclusive of, the Inferred Mineral Resource, an Exploration Target ranging from 2.5 – 4.2 million tonnes at 1.1 – 1.8 g/t Au (84,200 – 233,000 oz Au) and 3.8 – 6.4 g/t Ag (447,000 – 744,000 oz Ag) has been defined.

As well as Trig Bluffs, geophysical surveys and reconnaissance geologic mapping and sampling confirmed additional targets for follow-up at the Ajax, Chelmsford and Oneura prospects.

Mt Hope Gold Copper project is located in the world class Cobar basin of central NSW. E2 Metals Ltd undertook an RC drilling program in April 2013 which followed up on a known high grade gold lense where mineralization was defined from surface to a depth of approximately 100m. Applying the unique Cobar style geological model (ie: ore deposits like Peak , Perserverance typically have short strike lengths but great vertical continuity to depths of over 1km) to Mt Hope led to a highly successful follow up drill program that confirmed  the vertical continuity and  more than doubled the gold zone to 220 meters below surface which remains open in multiple directions including down dip.  Results included 5m @ 23.3 g/t Au from 1m, 8m @ 15.2 g/t Au from 2m , 9m @ 7.57 g/t Au from 66m, 6m @ 10.5 g/t Au from 184m. Other known gold and copper lenses have been identified at the Mt Hope project and the same Cobar style model will be applied to future exploration. The aim is to define a maiden JORC compliant Gold resource in as short a time frame as possible at Mt Hope.

The company’s board and management team have extensive geological, mining and investment experience and are well placed to implement the company’s strategy.

The Company’s primary focus is:

  • Increase the gold resource at Neavesville by targeting the high-grade feeder structures contained within the well defined low sulphidation epithermal system.
  • To recognise the unique geological features of Cobar Style deposits (NSW) and apply appropriate modern exploration techniques to extend the high grade gold mineralised zones at Mt Hope.
